Has anybody seen the film Bronson?

I watched it for the third time tonight and still think it is a brilliant piece of filmmaking.

I may be in a minority of one though.

All my mates that have seen it absolutely hated it.

I know there is a load of violence and very bad language but the film had a style that I liked.

Am I just sick :dunno:

Or am I on higher level of artistic appreciation :giggle:

though it was really bad they couldve done so much more with it

Liked it.

Don't normally go in for the glorification of phsycos stuff.

But it had a certain dark surreal type of humour to it. And was quite stylishly made. Had overtures of A Clockwork Orange I thought.

Good stuff, I agree.

And Bronson is a bona fide phsyco. None of your Danny Dyer style pseudo soccer thuggery for this chap. Entirely deranged.

I liked it too, Tom Hardy is an amazing actor I think. He was in a 3 part series called 'The Take' on Sky1 a while ago that you should check out if you can find it on the net anywhere, it's amazing.

My first ost by the way. :applause:

The film is very interesting...

but then again I go to see about one one or two films a week (thanks to the cineworld Unlimited card:thumbgrin)

and its nice to watch something a bit different...

and mental illness / psychosis is very hard to portray realistically

Following on from the film, I bought the book to read more...
and any lingering sympathy for Bronson evaporated with his defence of Peados like fat boy Cray:coffee:

The Bronson story is the classic case study for many various types of Prison reformers and folk wanting a different more severe custodial system

Quite fancy it. Did you ever watch Lady Vengeance?

I did.

Was a bit tired and emotional though and don't think I appreciated it as much as I should have.

Will give it another go soon.

I may have built it up a little. Unlike my stud wall as yet...

Thought it was quite good, liked the fact that after many month of Mrs Beaver creaming here self at the thought of Tom Hardy, when she saw him in his birthday suit, he wasnt blessed in the trouser dept!!!

The take on the other hand was a top class piece of TV....well worth watching
