I didn't get round to copying and pasting my thread from the main board, but I thought I'd share with you my annoyance of how the British media has reported on the on-coming Semi-final showdown between Celtic and Rangers...... oh, and by the way, Celtic have to beat Hibs first.....

I've already told you of my annoyance of seeing an 'Irish' bar in Tenerife that is really a Celtic bar, and how I turned up the next night in my Hibs gear and gave them wot for.

Well, the British media has done it again.

CELTIC AND RANGERS WILL MEET IN THE SEMI FINAL OF THE CIS CUP.

(oh, apart from the formality that is Hibs, in the way)

TOTAL OUTRAGE! How dare any member of the media share their thought in this disgusting pool of disgrace? A cup competition is as unpredicatable as me picking all lottery numbers for every member of the Bounce. Yes, Celtic are romping the league at the mo, but Cup competition is a totally different being!

The Media love it when the lower leagues of the Nationwide are beating the Premiership teams, but when it comes to the teams above the border..... Na! Feck that.....! There's always only two teams init.

Well..... I want a Hibs v Dundee FC final. And we'll win that, don't let it be a Celtic v Livingston final. Support the BOYS (not bhoys - we're not at sea) and we'll get there!

I would like to encourage more, but I'm already past my allowance here.

Regards,
THE SCOOBS.

Scoobie,

Same old, same old - its just lazy journalism.

There's no such thing as a cert and the likes of Caley Thistle should have shown hacks that they should have a bit more imagination.

Backing the favourites is easy copy. Sure, when Hibs do the business it means they have to do some research instead of justing writing about the only two teams in Scotland they know anything about.

Tsk.

NIH

Let them rant on and I hope the bookies get sucked in too it would make it all the sweeter turning up the following day to collect my winnings. We are due a win against them and the cup at the Holy Ground has to be the best opportunity for that. I don't know what the odds are but they are bound to worth a fiver.

Vini, I'm gonna put a Fiver on that.

Yeah, I'm Irish, but I've only did the yearly English and Irish Grand Nationals for betting, so this'll be my first for football.

Don't ya love the Greeks tho? I especially like the way that Pana has a SHAMROCK for their Irish heritage (I believe it was again Irish Pliramgages who started it), instead of a feckin shitty four-leaf clover. Pah!

I think we should have a Green Brotherhood Fantasy Football league. And bonus point for beating Rangers in the Champs League.... ha ha!

Doh! I hate repling to myself, but I have to mention something that is VERY relevent to this thread.

The commentating on the Grampian/STV was shocking. How NOT unbiased are they? I thought the BBC 1 Scotland duo were bad, but I've now understood that they are just rubbish commentators.

The ITV Scotland bollocks tonight were sooooooo up Rangers arses it was unbelievable! Especially when Ricksen when in for a Red Card challenge and didn't get anything. He then followed it up with one immediately after, and still nowt. And what did the commentators say? 'Ricksen was so unlucky not achieving the ball on those occasions.'

And they were also saying that Pana weren't a neccessary good European side who got lucky on the night!!!! Can you believe that?

Rant over.

Pah!

LOL.... Scoobs.

Ricksen often has trouble getting the ball since his studs keep getting stuck in the legs of his opponents. Still yo ho ho and well done the Greek/Irish. I wonder how many Panathanikos/Rangers scarves were sold last night. You usually see scarves with both competing teams on half and half in european ties, then again the guys who peddle bigotry around ibrox probably know their market and reckoned there wouldn't be much call for the above mentioned scarves.
