British are dogs

I really can't follow his cantona style ramblings. and i'm not really bothered either.

What amazes me about this is that they are so upset about the use of forged British Passports. I wonder if they would have made any fuss at all about the execution if another country's passports were used?

Of course they wouldn't, that's not a relevant question though. The argument is about the abuse of British citizens rights to commit this assassination, not the assassination itself.

Why dont we call this a terror act rather than assassination?
because it was an assassination?

Come on Ab; you're pissed when they go after Hamas when they hide themselves behind schools and hospitals; surely going after them when they break cover is preferrable?

Come on Egb , I am sure you know what I mean, If not I can give you an example, you remember the murder of Van Gogh.

here is one Headline : Terror suspect to be deported over Van Gogh murder

For me the murder of Mabhouh and Van Gogh is the same act, so should we call it assassination or Terror act?

To be fair, from the headline given, it isn't actually classed either .. it's classed as a murder.

I appreciate that the wording may be a bit confusing to you but he is only called a "terror suspect" he isn't even called a terrorist.

Mate, this is only an example and If you look it up you will find many websites saying he is terrorist rather than a criminal. There many different examples though.

I can only respond to what is put in front of me. You put up a headline to an incident claiming that it was called a terrorist act which, in my view, it didn't.
:dunno:

My personal opinion is that I would view terrorist acts as those acts that create widespread terror.

For example, I would view a suicidal bombing in a busy area as a terrorist act but I would probably view the beheading of hostages as "murder" (however the subsequent release of the footage could possibly be viewed as a terrorist act?).

The shooting of John Lennon I would call murder, the shooting of JFK an assasination, sitting in a bell tower picking people of with a sniper rifle I would call a terrorist act. Obviously nothing is ever black and white but I think it is possible to show some sort of distinction between them.

You cannot see the difference between a Hamas leader and Theo Van Gogh? Honestly?

They were both murdered for such reasons, was it acceptable? No .
If They did wrong things so they should be brought to justice.

I think They have paid the price of what they believed in , Hamas leader for resisting the occupation and Van Gogh for freedom of experssion.
