Block 7

Nice statement, although doesn’t fit with what I witnessed.
The megaphone boy was far from calm, he was going tonto, demanding the players get nearer.

I didn’t see an “invitation” to join the players on the pitch either, which seems highly unlikely, but maybe I just missed that.

This. Its a load of pish as usual from block 7. Given how aggresive they were being towards the players the police and stewards acted just as you would expect.

Its never their fault. At some point they need to acknowledge what they have done wrong and learn from it.

It’s a very well worded statement. I wasn’t at Tannadice so I don’t know how accurately it reflects what happened. I think it would be unlikely the club would just ban them without good reason.

You reap what you sow unfortunately. I like the atmosphere they bring to the stadium and don’t actually mind the drum (or the much maligned siren). I’m more concerned with the way they behave towards other ‘ordinary’ Hibs fans.

I understand the dressing like a storm trooper is part of the ultras culture. Fair enough. Looks a bit daft to me but what do I know? Threatening other Hibs fans because they’re not doing what you want is another thing. They turned on a member of my family for apparently being a Jambo. The guys in his 60s and has been a season ticket holder at Easter Road for more than 50 years.

A bunch of 20 somethings, dressed like fannies, fueled up on Columbian Marching Powder, thinking they’re holier than thou picking on an older bloke on his own. Couldn’t give a fuck if they’re never allowed back. Good riddance to them. Self entitled, arrogant wee twats that think they’re better than every other Hibs fan because they pinch flags and shop at CP Company.

Quite self entitled really, all on how hard done by they are. If the Police and Stewards are giving you extra attention then perhaps contemplate why that might be.....

I find the whole Ultra thing a bit silly at best and intended to be downright intimidating at worst. And of they are giving abuse to other Hibs fans then they should be told to bolt. The club is not theirs much as it seems to be to them as I read that statement. What is it with Scottish football over the last few years with all these daft statements?

The boy that jumped on trackside and his dad who barged wee kids out the way , causing them to cry . And refusing to let B7 get on their coach after the game. Therefore, delaying the rest of the bus for circa 30 mins .

The folk that were there no the truth .

B7 are a Poundland Green Brigade.

You’re not allowed to singing until the capo tells you … weird behaviour a grown man, bossing school kids about
My missus came with me to Dingwall last season.
There was a wee boy a few rows down with his mum who was fascinated with the B7 and 'joined in' with the hand clapping etc. He was that excited that he started, or attempted to start, a couple of songs himself and was given what seemed to be a severe talking to by the 'capo' for his temerity. Wee guy was pretty crestfallen.
My missus was furious and I had to prevent her going down and putting the capo on the naughty step.

Eloquently put.

Sums them up as said in earlier post threatened my son at a game so reap what they sow and stick your chat GPT written statement along with Siren up yer holes.

Amazing how club and atmosphere for years coped without them when folk like your mate of 50 years went and they were not even a thought.

We encountered Block 7 at close quarters at Tannadice last year.
Those who weren't pissed, reeked of dope.
Not an enjoyable afternoon.
I've only had one close encounter with an ultra, not sure if he was Hibs or Aberdeen. Prick tried to barge through me after a game at Hampden. If he had tried again after he bounced off me he was getting slapped.

It looked to me like Passlack gestured someone to come down and speak. But I would have thought that invitation was to come to the edge of the stand, not to come flying out from under a banner onto the trackside going radge. The Stewards and Police responded correctly.

The Capo guy is in charge of a group of laddies who all follow and do what he says, so he needs to have more responsibility and thought about his actions, it really could have ended up a lot worse.

No i wasn't. However, I thought it was a well worded statements

Not for the first time the Capo has demanded the players, stop and listen to him lecturing them

That is a link to The Hibs Ramble Podcast when they interview Blocked Seven. At about 47 minutes they talk about speaking to players after the game and how Passlack and Sallinger understand the culture of the Ultras.

For me they have become a bit self entitled, thinking they have already elevated themselves to the status and clout some of the big Ultras groups have on the continent.

I don’t think they’re necessarily entitled but it seems to be they are Hibs obsessed in a way that goes way beyond most of us.

I doubt it’s a life long obsession unlike the rest of us

It's an excuse to act like a European ultra and think they're a law unto themselves.

I go for the football, it's never interested me using it as an excuse to be a *&*^.
If I wanted a scrap I'd go uptown, Hibs have never been a reason to cause trouble for me.

They see themselves as some tough ultra group, going fighting with these wee laddies from Perth … they had a chance to go to Belgrade and test themselves… posted missing. Also, posted missing a few times against the weedgies.

Sorry , l think they were having some sort of protest

I’m not sure if he is dubbed as Capo by his soldiers (😜) or whether it’s a piss take by ordinary Hibs fans who find it a bit sad, him ordering young boys around.

Capo is the term all Ultras groups use for the guy with the megaphone.

Once more the subtitles are ludicrous.

That was an embarrassing atmosphere yesterday end of. It was a library apart from the brilliant Falkirk support. I don't take joy out of saying that either.
At Celtic game today , 60000 boring bar stewards… heard their ultras in the background.

That’s for a game they’re destroying the opposition

Atmosphere at football is fan generated for sure.
If the fans get something to get excited about, the crowd has a buzz to it.
An annoying fucking drum is nothing more than that...annoying.
More so because the *&*^ banging it usually has no clue on rhythms.
Boom ,boom....boom, boom ,boom.
And that gets on yer tits after 20 seconds, never mind 90+ minutes.
As for a siren?
I wish one would drag the psycho drummer with her onto the nearest fucking cliff and shove him off!

The nearest cliff will be Cliff Pike.

Seriously though, how come I can watch every game on match of the day and never hear a drum? Can we not campaign for the SFA to ban them from grounds in Scotland. Along with megaphones. Maybe we need a law suit against one of the wee fuds for damaging someone’s hearing.

I didn't think 'personal' amplified sound, a megaphone, was allowed in grounds.

Is that something else that's ignored to accommodate the ultras?

I mean how much fun, adding so much to the atmosphere, if we all had one, maybe with a wee siren too :bolt:
