First to go from ICT along with 2 of his coaches. Apparently he’d been working for no wages recently too. Interesting times ahead, right eeenuff.
He was hopeless
He always struck me as one of those ‘ nearly ‘ Managers, from what I’ve read and seen he was a better Coach than a Manager, especially at youth level. There was no doubt about his commitment to ICT working for nothing but I think many in the Club lost the appetite to continue fighting. You wonder if this will be another Gretna scenario.I challenge 'was'!
ICT may have been thrown a “lifeline” by Dumbarton going into administration. Your right machine and it’s clearly with both Clubs , not all about money, there’s a whole myriad of things here that have impacted on each other. It would be interesting to know what the ST and footfall is at games for both. That's two League One clubs into administration this season...one of them now being Dumbarton, one of the oldest football clubs in Scotland.
I hate seeing this.
I know ICT and Dumbarton are small clubs, but they mean a lot to the people who support them, and of course the people employed by them.
Hope we are not going to see any more end up like this, but there are clear red flags already for me.
You'd think with these clubs going into administration the Scottish football authorities would introduce some kind of financial regulations to stop stuff like this happening..... makes you wonder why notThat's two League One clubs into administration this season...one of them now being Dumbarton, one of the oldest football clubs in Scotland.
