Ban Valentine's Day: Will someone please think of the children

One pupil's mother said: "I think it's outrageous. They're just children. Why spoil their fun?"

I think its outrageous when things like this are described as outrageous.

"My son is six and he's had a little girlfriend since nursery. They say they're going to get married, but we don't read anything into it."

Exactly.

These are just daft wee notions and should be treated as such without making a big fuss about it.

I remember years ago I had a 10 year old girlfriend and we were "going to get married". Didn't happen.

When her dad found out I was twenty five at the time that really brought it to an end.

Do you contribute to other sites as well?

I still remember the good old days in School

Taking the P155 out of the teachers

A bit of Football at playtime

A quick fag behind the Dutch Barn

Getting friendly with the girls behind the bike sheds
