Sober I could probably have understood it dude, no sweat.

Very rarely bet on horses these days but Coral sent me a letter giving me a free 10 single bet if I spent 10. Put my coupon off and found that Hibaayeb. Thank you Coral.

How the f#ck did you pick a 25/1 shot? I've actually had two in myself. One was a Barry Hills horse called The Fly in a nursery. Pure luck. Another was in The Wokingham. Can't remember the name but it started with an A I'm sure. Pure luck again. Even had Steven Fletcher at 33/1 to score first against Celtic with Ladbrokes one Sunday. Unbelievable price but I've got photographic proof if needed. Never made my work that Monday. In fact I also had De La Cruz to score first against Hearts at 25/1 (might have been 22/1) and had the same price for him to score last. He scored the first and the second but he didn't score the last. Bet Direct still payed out on both bets though. Thank you Bet Direct. Didn't make work that Monday either.

By and by I'm still down thousands though. It's a hobby, not a money maker.

A friend advised me to put a few quid on e/w. Sometimes they come in other times they don't. A don't really bet on the horses that much now I'm more into the footie but tbh my strike rate and return on investment is pretty pants this month, so I've dropped my stakes and from now on I'm sticking to singles with the occasional double.

I was reading the Racing post today about a horse that was 999/1 in running and was 4rth or 5th with a few lengths to go and a few folks got 16 pound on just before it romped home :smug: that would be nice eh.

But please give me shout next time you get any info etc.
