Are big cats on the loose in Scotland

There are said to be another two Lynx on the prowl, probably of the same family group as the two captured.

Nice article about Scotland's very own indigenous Wildcats.

The other 2 were picked up this evening.

I hope they find the arseholes who released these animals and get them jailed although I’m struggling to think of the circumstances that led to this.
Seems the thinking is they are from the same private collection and are related maybe, they are not scared of humans and are used to heating :D

They've been talking about introducing Lynx for years.
How's someone managed to release 4?

I think we should bring them back, but proper ones, no wee tame pet ones that can't survive.

I think they should release Bears into greyskull then the kid on bears can meet the real ones.

Many years ago a mate (Davie)and I were working near Dunning in Perthshire. It was about this time of year and we were sitting in the work van, early morning, middle of nowhere waiting to get started. Davie looked up from his paper and blurted out, “WTF is that”? I looked up to see, on top of a verge about 30 metres from us, what I can only describe as a panther looking creature. We both got out of the van to have a closer look and it ran off into nearby woods. We discovered afterwards, around that time there had been quite a few sightings of big cat type animals in that area

As Roy Walker might say, I’m just saying what I saw
