Anyone lost a legless green Hibby in Leith?

This terrifies the living daylights out of me as I have a horrific phobia.

There has to be a "want" about folk who keep reptiles (apologies for the generalisation)

Its not a phobia though... its quite natural to be scared of a huge snake...

Don't think it was huge - it fitted in a blummin cutlery drawer!

I'd get a bit of a fright admittedly but only cause it would be unexpected.

I wouldn't have one as a pet but then I wouldn't have a dug or cat, or even fish if there weren't chips next to it!

Each to their own though!

Once visited a house to carry out a repair. I needed access to a walk in cupboard . The woman said 'do you really need in there'?

She opened the door & there were several glass cases with all kinds of snakes in 'em.
On a shelf above she had 3 tarantulas in smaller cases.
The cruncher for me was when she asked if I wanted to see what she kept in the shed.

I looked in through the window.

A bloody great python.

Don't understand the fascination to be honest.

Its a massive phobia. Almost passed out in New York when I turned round and a man had one round his neck right beside me.
I was so hysterical a stranger actually ran after me to make sure I was ok.

Woke up screaming in the middle of the night last week cos I was dreaming one was attached to my big toe (don't laugh).

Then this article surfaces meters from where I live.

Had to wake JFTB up at 4am this morning cos I was scared. Couldn't sleep after reading yesterday's article.
My friend had same kind of reaction to spiders (possibly even worse) and managed to be cured.
Thinking of maybe asking her how she did it. Hypnosis maybe?

Husband's words of comfort " don't worry its was just a house snake".

Oh thats OK then. :banger:

I hope you are Naked Chef with a new name then :hmmm
