Im starting this out of sheer devilment :rascal: ; Ive never started a flag debate before; Ive never been to a music festival; and never waved a flag any bigger than an A4 sheet of paper.
But I can understand why folk get upset!
Folk complain that they have to pay a 1.50 booking fee and hypothetically others think its OK to wave flags so that I canny see from my 22 seat (not sure if thats the cost per seat as I have a ST, but you know what I mean).
Do they make Dido or Lady Gaga flags? I wouldnt have thought any other type of flag would be appropriate in the entertainment areas although I can see the point in the tented areas.

Fans are being asked to take part in an online vote on the festival's website (www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk) to decide whether to outlaw banners following complaints that they spoil the view for some of the crowd.
