I thought this deserved a thread of it`s own as, while it`s mainly about SevCo, it does and will affect other clubs. It is the outrageous decision by the SPFL not to relegate clubs who go into administration. This is an excellent article which spells out exactly how the weak-willed, the spineless and the hun apologists who control our national game have, yet again, failed in their duty to protect the game and punish cheats.

Another massive 'fudge' by the authorities designed to let them [SevCo] off. In all likelhood 'The Rangers' are heading towards an insolvency event and administration. A 25 point deduction wont make any difference....they`ll still get promoted. Where`s the punishment....where are the sanctions?

Scottish football...cheated and made to look an absolute farce yet again because of it`s ruling powers being incapable to make rules and enforce them against certain clubs.

i was hoping for a "a finger of budge is just enough to give the kids a treat" style song for the next derby? this is all positively grown up...!

There'll be no votes if the Rangers scenario was to happen again?
So Hunco could get back up, die again, revive as zombie 2.0 and stay in the top flight like they originally "expected"

So Hearts could now liquidate in the summer and still be in the Scottish Championship debt free? :banger:

THere are already Huns of my acquaintance who are looking on a second administration andlosing 25 points whilst so far ahead as being a bit of 'clever planning' on the part of the Orcs.

No shame at all.

Despite 'Armageddon' being just a tad exaggerated, it seems that the wishes of the powers that be in Scottish fitba' contnue to be to promote the rivalry of the bigot bros. For some reason which can't be properly understood by anyone except Rantic fans and 'fitba' folk' in the media and the blazers, a one horse race is no good to fans of Hibs, Motherwell, United etc etc etc ........ but a two-horse race fuelled by hatred bigotry and cheating is really what we all want.
We're just too stupid to realise that.

It is a sorry state of affairs. The people that run Scottish football are corrupt, lack vision and are obsessed that the OF are the focus of the Scottish game. Scottish football is knackered.

The SPFL now comprises all the clubs, in all the leagues, doesn't it?

I assume that the clubs can change the laws by having meetings, raising the issues and voting on them.

In spite of all the huffing and puffing from supporters, what I don't see is anything sensible coming out of one single member club. I don't hear one single dissenting voice from any club, in any league. Isn't that strange!

Why doesn't one of the clubs call an extraordinary general meeting, put forward the idea of actually relegating a club that goes into admin, in addition to the points deduction, and see what the response is.

I suspect we would be surprised to see who would actually vote for something like this and who wouldn't. I also suspect that the majority would vote for the status quo for two reasons:

1. Irrespective of what clubs say in public, I suspect that most of them don't want to see the "The Ranger" go down again.

2. "There, but for the grace of God go I". Tomorrow it could be you who's in the financial shit and threatened with the additional financial ruin relegation would bring.

So before we start slagging off the MSM (as I do), and the SFA (as I do), and the "The Rangers" (as I do), maybe we should all have a closer look our own clubs, because I am being deafened by their collective silence.

Lest we forget, it took huge groundswell of opinion the last time, not from the clubs, but from a massive reaction from supporters on the internet, to eventually force (embaress) the club chairman to collectively do something about it, and at the time it looked like most of them were squirming.

If we end up with "Hun III" coming to a cinema (football ground) near you, then I suspect my 20 year season ticket association with Hibs will probably come to an abrupt and spectacular end. If they go into admin and win the league, then we truly are all are pissing our hard earned cash up against the wall, and the really sad and pathetic thing about it is, the people in power (at the clubs), the SFA and the MSM, really, truly just don't care.

It looks like most clubs don't want people like me buying a season ticket and sitting in the same seat all season, buying merchandise and supporting the club. It looks like they would rather have 4000 slavering, buckie filled, apoplectic morons having a bigot fest in the Dunbar end.

"The Rangers" go down again, for a quick financial gobble and come up gasping for air, with a big red face, and a league title. You couldn't make it up.

It just isn't worth it anymore, we are collectively just all a piece of shit in the eyes of the people with the power.

What's the point of financial austerity and watching crap for years, when all we have to do is borrow millions, spend money we don't have, go into admin, get liquidated then do it all again.

Maybe we should just rename Groundhog Day to Rangers Day.
