I've only been on that road a few times but it was mental every time.

One of the things that makes it so dangerous is that its the first few miles for Johnny Foreigner after crossing the Channel doing all sorts mixed with the arrogant Londoners who think nothing of doing a ton so they get home 5 minutes earlier. In the opposite direction the mix of folk taking their time cause they're early for their crossing and those flooring it cause they're late is just as bad.

If I remember rightly its the road that had the speed camera that made the most money in the world.
