So I've had that wee upgrade thing on my menu for ages now and resisted the offer to upgrade, but the folk that provide back office support for me suggest it's now time...faster,more efficient, longer support range from Microsoft etc.

Anyone else upgraded recently? Any glitches?

Me, no problems at all once I got used tae it. It's got the start menu back which, for me anyway, was a big deal. Took me longer tae get used tae Windows 7 and 8.

Me too , once i pushed the button it more or less did everything itself , it kept my desktop and all my programs , ps if you do have any illegal programs or programs with dodgy downloaded keys it will delete them , but overall great as others said, no problem to get used to , it even updates your drivers and everything automatically , well recommended

One of my mates who knows more about this shit than I do advised me to wait until all the glitches were sorted out. I haven't spoken to him about it for a month or so though so I must revisit that one.

I eventually succumbed to temptation and moved to 10.

It's fine.

Much better than 8, although I would happily have stayed with XP which was pretty decent.

Cheers for the replies, I've tried downloading overnight but it hasn't worked. :dunno: Will try again today.
