Maybe the guy is Hibee? Cliff on Hibs TV wouldn't know research if it smacked him in the face. Still gets the players muddled after a full season watching them. Should know their squad numbers like the back of his hand.

Sounds like he does stay in East Lothian, or at least has businesses there.

Freelance commentator for sports, clearly done his homework. Definitely sounded like he had knowledge of Hibs.

I enjoyed his commentary, thought he done well.

What I liked about him was that, apart from the understandable, rare error, he kept us informed almost constantly of who was doing what, a wee bit of background on the "swiss" players and, most importantly, he kept his own ad-libbing and opinion giving down to a minimum (unlike a certain Hibs TV commentator). And all this without a co-commentator. There were times when you could easily take your eye of the screen but you still had a good idea what was going on.

There are times when Cliff can go ages without mentioning what's going on on the pitch (very poor when he's meant to be doing audio only too).

I would take last night's guy back no problem.

He's got a twitter page as well but hasn't posted on it for about six years.
 
Was at my wee sisters.We got the pay per view, a lot of farffing about,trying to get your remote to get the mouse arrow to move etc and then we thought it wasnae coming on,but it started up with 8 minutes to spare,doubt if I was in chez Moat I'd still be setting up.But all good and then he started going on about confetti in Boyle's cleats and we were in stiches.Bet you he's a Scot taking the piss.

I'll admit American commentary I can't stand normally and expected it to be the same.
The fuck ups made it even funnier .
Vente scored right up till towards the end when youan was going for his second .

Sign him up, hilarious and entertaining! I suspect an American maybe with a Scottish family. How else would he know what a 'stooshie' is?
