Can’t beat the Elvis juice, a few cans and you’re certainly feeling the affects. They dropped it down to 5.1% for a bit but it’s back to 6.5% nowJust recently discovered the delights of Brewdog beers
Enjoying a variety pack with my favourites bring the Punk IPA and Elvis Juice. Not too many of the latter though
Burger roll from the bbq and watching recording of Community Shield .
By any chance did Jilted John come on just as you were walking into Milnes?Quietly satisfied with Hibs performance.
Sipping a glass of ice cold homemade Kefir.
Scoffing a big bowl of mixed leave salad and homemade sourkrout.
Watching a spendid 1978 Top of the Pops on BBC2.
Ian Dury, ELO, Bob Marley, 10cc, Blondie, Kate Bush, Elvis Costello, Manfred Mann, Chic, Rose Royce and others including the bizarre Jilted John who certainly had me sussed. Kate Bush at the BBC just starting.
On the beer front as an aside. Visited my auld Ma up Lauriston way on Thursday. Fired off the bus and got a pint of Belhaven Best in Milnes Bar ....£4.95. Resumed on to a congested Leith. Fired into Foot of the Walk, got a second Belhaven Best there....£1.80, I kid you not.
