Following on from smurfs iphone v htc thread. I thought I would find out what the bouncers mp3 player of choice is?

I have a cowon j3 which is absolutely brilliant. 4 different personal settings graphic equaliser plus about 20 preset settings. Availibity to use a micro sd card. The one I have is 32gb and I've got a 32gb sd card 64 gig of pleasure. :giggle: :laff:

used to have the cowon j3, and thought it was brilliant. Only had the 16gb version, though that was enough with the sd card. I was absolutely gutted when it broke.

Your favourite! 160GB iPod Classic.

This is the one I have now, thought it was a better option, given my increasing music collection. Not as many bells and whistles but does the job nicely

Just use my phone. That was the appeal of a smartphone for me, having a single device to do everything.

I'm surprised at the amount of bouncers that use their phone? Battery life on new phones is shit so I never use my phone for that. Use my phone for downloading tunes tho.:tuttut:

Use an S4 for music with Poweramp and a set o` Skullcandys. Uses almost zilch battery power.

3 hours solid music at full pelt, uses less than 10%.

I do this daily, so :dunno:

Phone for me,plugged up to the aux input and left charging in the van to keep me going through the night when the radio gets shit, the phone has all my needs like my own music mixcloud, soundcloud, deazer,YouTube mp3 converter.

Only had the months trial daz but was well impressed, going to have upgrade my vodaphone account to red as i thought a tenner a month was a bit steep.

I get it free with my contract , use it regularly as i no longer own a cd or anything

My phone ain't big enough for my collection. Stick that in yer smert phone and dial it!

If yer collection is in MP3 format then..... and you have a 64gb micro sd, that will conservatively hold 1,200 full albums in highest quality.

Or more than 15,000 songs.

Smert enough? :coffee:

I have an I pod classic & a sansa sandisk.

MP3 format is really not good enough for me now due to my hearing loss. I miss quite a lot on most songs.

Oddly enough, last week I was working in a guys house & he was playing vinyl & I couldn't believe how good it was.

Maybe it's the way forward?:rascal: All this digital stuff is maybe not so hot after all.

Nope, not smert enough. How can you have 'highest quality' and be talking about MP3s? Either way, it's academic. Even in MP3, 64GB is not enough.

Get a better phone then K :wink::thumbgrin

I will refer you to me response to the Rt Hon Heid; 64GB ain't enough and that's the top capacity iPhone. So, I just get the lowest capacity iPhone and use the iPod classic.

Vinyl accentuates differing frequencies to digital. Some prefer, some don't. The frequencies you'll be missing due your own hearing loss will be the specific ones digital is better at. Vinyl gives you the warmness, mid range and lovely bass. It still gives you high end, treble. But, not as precise. And that's kinda the beauty of it. Vinyl has it's own sound and depending on your own subjective preference, it's either gonna sound better or worse.

Get yerself some decks ;)
