In a similar vein, I've had to switch from GMS to Today because of the recent inanity of the former.
Bonus: I'm missing out on Scottish election coverage.
 
Something I've never 'had time' for.

Up, coffee, shower, dressed and out to work. Timings based on what was on the radio; news, competition etc..

Now it's up, radio, coffee, lie about in bed on my tablet until there's something better to do. Now we've got a robbovac I can do the downstairs or maybe put the dishwasher on, so I'm busy too 😆

I've not had a telly in the bedroom since I got the old black and white one out the living room when we got our colour telly 😅
 
Out of habit, I put it on for background noise while I make breakfast and coffee, then turn it off when I sit down. I concur, utter shite. Kind of begs the question, who actually sits down and watches it?
 
We have GMB on in the morning in the background. Sometimes quite comical for Richard Madeley’s frequent #accidentalpartridge

Suzanna and Charlotte make it aw worthwhile 👀
 
Radio Scotland gives any shite TV breakfast show a run for its money in the drivel stakes. The Jambo on it is particularly annoying. I have to listen to something else in the van nowadays.

Sadly it’s the case wherever you look/listen for “news” nowadays. So-called “journalists” bordering on illiterate, Senga’s Brazilian butt lift going horribly wrong, just giving pages being started by “community-minded citizens”. The Onlyfans “model” who is doing so well that she could buy 60 Easter eggs for her 2 kids this year - wait for her just giving page being started for dental bills. Social Media has opened a whole new can of worms - Donald Trump, need I say more?

BBC breakfast starts at 6.00 and drags out 4 or 5 pieces of news on loop until 9.00 with a 2 minute regional news slot every half hour which relates the same stuff every time too.
