To be fair, the paintball one I can’t entirely dismiss. If someone was mad enough to make an incredibly irresponsible gesture that could get them killed or sent down for a long time, it sorta fits with people behind not appearing to be hit, and Trump’s injury could be produced that way rather than a graze by a bullet. And I don’t know anything about guns but the shots sound like pops to me - I guess that could be small calibre or silenced though.

Before the false flag narrative is put to rest though I’d like to know the details of why the gunman was killed and not arrested.
