I don't like the Salford City 'project' - they play at the foot of my road, and i much preferred a legit non-league side who played in tangerine to an audience of 6 old men and 2 dogs to the ersatz knockoff yanited branding exercise they now are - but it's still mostly run by people with a connection to the area. Unlike celebrity crook Peter Lim, who was only involved with that mob in the first place to build a hotel for wankers down the road
