Play continues and his team goes up the pitch and scores. All of a sudden he miracously recovers and nothing more is said.Happens all the time; and I've just seen it with Leicester v Spurs.Does ma' heid in.

The player was Kristiansen. He recovers enough to sit and watch the goal, then gets off his arse.

Overpaid, cheating, pussies. Footballers are a breed apart. Spitting every 5 minutes and the fairly new one, emptying the contents of their noses on the park. Is there anything else in world sport that compares with this embarrassment? The game we knew and loved is truly fucked.

They should start using VAR to root out the obvious cheating or your right, the game will become truly fucked . The Leicester goalie screaming and holding his ankle, replay showed no contact whatsoever . Send him off, the evidence is right there in front of VAR . 😡

A properly used VAR, operated by independent professionals, with no affiliation to the clubs playing, ideally based in a neutral country could do so much to clean up the game. Instead of measuring cms at offside decisions it should also be looking (in the background) at every piece of fakery and cheating employed by players. If this then led to retrospective RED cards that would be a real statement that it needs to stop.
The way it operates now it makes you wonder why it was introduced in the first place.

They thought it would assist the beautiful game, instead it’s made it uglier. Curling would be a better watch. They don’t have VAR, just tape measures 😜

Different scenario yesterday when Josh went down screaming after getting a knee in the back, ref standing five yards away waved play on.

So I wonder if all the play acting goes full circle and in yesterday’s case it cost us.

I was watching the Sheep game the other day(sorry I don't know their name) the black player with braided hair with white extensions going through it. Twice threw himself down in the box with a slight touch from the defender.A total embarresment of a player. No wonder they are losing points with that type in their team.

Oh give over Joe, what would be the point, you'd deny it.

You're right, all Hibs players are choirboys. You're a better fan than me.
Thanks, I shoulld be grateful you didny elongate the third last word there 🤣

I get cheating from any player regardless of team is the same. But i do get what Joe is saying, those who go down in obvious screams of severe pain and injury to them automatically be absolutely fine is the worst, that’s designed to get players sent off, not just to get a free kick.
Cheating to get s free kick is become the norm, but cheating to get players sent off as seemingly in agony is piss poor stuff

so were does the cheatometer stop then , its like being a wee bit offside or stealing 2 feet at a throw in

Yes several times. I don't go around with green tinted specs.
Can't say I saw him writhe about the park feigning injury.
He was (in my opinion) unfairly labelled a diver by Yogi and his pals, simply because he got clipped at pace. He may have 'gone down easily' (and we all want to meet a girl like that) but I don't recall the theatrical screaming and rolling about as if his foreskin was caught in his zip, or indeed someone else's.

That is SAIR by the way, the former anyway.

Thanks Doc for your support, there was me thinking I didn’t have green tinted specs anaw . 👍

Just a wee postscript, I’ll be watchin Barcelona tonight, one of the other teams I like and if I was wearing specs ( I don’t after having cataracts done ) they wouldn’t be blue and garnet tinted . I fully recognise that Lewandowski is one of the worst culprits and regularly say so 👍
p.s. my sunglasses are tinted but it’s red 🤣🤣

Yeah at the end of the day it all boils down to the same, cheating.
Think it’s just more pathetic when they make out like they’ve broken a leg then absolutely fine seconds later
VAR and retrospective red cards. It's so bloody obvious. Why isn't it a thing? The game is descending into farce yet the governing bodies seem ok with that.
