It put's the SFA to shame - Incompetent or In on it with Sevco....

Best comment I read was. Can we still sing these songs at domestic games?
Same type of comments the average pigeon brained hun xxxxx have been using at domestic games for decades and dont see a problem with it, just like the bigots who run our game.
Fuck all will ever happen in our game. Best scenario will be when the hun filth die AGAIN

Wish UEFA wid put somebody in Ibroke during a Recent Firm match and if the SFA do nothing tae punish the 2 teams for their bigotry , UEFA fine they *&*^ tae.

My first thought was Only 2,500?

Can't be long before the folk songs have them playing behind closed doors and eventually banned.

Nobody, opposition fans, been stabbed recently?

Nobody stabbed .....yet, but over on mongmedia they're relishing the away fans coming to Glasgow getting done in by the young team. Nothing's changed

It would almost be worthwhile them progressing in Euro if they get their arses kicked for bigotry.

Bit embarrassing for Scotland that 'normal behaviour' here is not acceptable elsewhere though.
Indeed. More so when a large number of them dont want to recognised as Scottish.
Hidden under their butchers apron.

That large offensive element in their support relish the notoriety. They keep on doing it, particularly when they're away in Europe.Only an outright ban puts an end to it.They've proved, time and time again, that they cannot be trusted to behave in a civilized manner; they love being scum! Surely the club itself, through the allocation of tickets, must have some way of ensuring, or at least reducing the risk, that those travelling are not going to behave like savages, and, therefore, has to shoulder the blame

Has Jabba no got his crayons out yet?
Should be a belter once he stops shaking with rage and scribbles his ‘beggars belief/tiny minority/protecting our players/trapped outside being crushed to death/big boy did it and ran away’ defence.
I’m really looking forward to it.

If what I heard today was right they'd already sold the 2,500 seats for the next Euro match.

Canny wait to see how they deal with that!

I just read the transcript a homage to the Dutch players what a lot of shit. The two assholes that disagreed with that are ficking idiots, we all know where it is going or went to, apart from them.

They do know. They are just taking the party line of sticking their heads in the sand and going into denial.
The Rangers are all about sectarianism. Being anti-catholic and anti-irish. That's why they get so much support in Scotland and why so many travel every week from all corners and especially Northern Ireland. Both of the Old Firm are about identity. They are not really football clubs as such, they are causes. Why would they do something serious to stop it and cut off the hand that feeds them by admitting they have a sectarian problem ? That's why the punishment from UEFA is so welcome...and they will continue to be punished as their fans will never stop singing these songs. It's what the the club has always been about and will go on being about.. Dodds and Ferguson are both dyed in the wool blue-noses. They are always going to defend that club. They believe in what their club stands for. They both will think the songs are great and the fans should be allowed to carry on singing them. Sectarianism and intolerance are what that club stands for.

Don't have a problem with an Orange strip at the end of the day it's only a colour. Now if were another colour with an Orange sash across it then I would have a problem.Nobody gets too upset at the Dutch strip which is Orange for the same reason.

BTW have a gander at the lyrics to the Dutch National Anthem if you want to see sectarianism.Has a dig at Spanish Catholacism.

Strange really as the largest religious group in holland is catholic
The south of the Netherlands is historically catholic, as that was the last part the Spanish occupied after the north ('Holland') drove them out.

I always thought it was about 50-50 split but the Protestants are so divvied up that no one group of them outnumbers the Catholics any more?

As a resident of that fine country would you say anti catholic or anti Spanish. I think protestants combined would be hard pushed to outnumber Catholics so to have them sing an anti catholic anthem would piss off large swathes of the population I would have thought.

Religions:
Roman Catholic 23.6%, Protestant 14.9% (includes Dutch Reformed 6.4%, Protestant Church of The Netherlands 5.6%, Calvinist 2.9%), Muslim 5.1%, other 5.6% (includes Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish), none 50.7% (2017 est.)

Thx for the stats @Jack

Think it made the papers here recently that there were now more non-believers than believers in religions.

The odd thing about the anthem is, iirc, Willem was originally a Catholic, brought up in a noble court in Bayeren, but was very tolerant of the Protestant thinking and indeed ended up heading their crusade against the Spanish.

So yes, more anti-Spanish than anti-Catholic for sure!

They’ve been charged again by UEFA for sectarian signing last week and now the Huns aren’t taken tickets for their next European away game

The BBC managed to report the second part without mentioning the important first part.
