Another one bites the dust:

http://getdarker.com/articles/we-lo...t-as-chemical-records-go-into-administration/

Chemical Records was pretty much the best (certainly in my opinion and many others) on-line record shop for promos & new releases in electronic, funk, d&b, house, dubstep, breaks etc. Really sad to see them go.

Any other recomendations for on-line vinyl-age?

The other sites I use are:

Redeye - mostly, probably a lot more not Chemical is no more
Juno - a bit
Intense look good, but not used them yet.
Discogs obviously, but generally not for promos or new releases.

I'm sure Dogs on Acid used to have a shop but I can't find it.

Any others?

Didn't miss much mate, boy only had a few boxes in a stall in the grassmarket. I picked up a nice mod compilation tho. Even if the boy had smashed every one of his vinyls across my coupon I bet I would still have had a better time than you.

Noticed both HMV and Fopp have increased their vinyl sections recently, nothing too obscure there but always good to see.

I queued for an hour for the Biggie & Outkast lps only to get to front and find out they had sold out. I still had a better time than going to Paisley.

Thankfully they have been able to order them in for me. :party07:
