I confess I might have been a jambo like my parents, but I had much older cousins who loved the Famous Five and particularly the great Gordon Smith. They travelled from Greenock to follow Hibs, staying with my family, their aunt and uncle as often as they could. So I’ve been a Hibee since about 1950, half the lifetime of the club. That’s quite a thought so thanks go to my cousins Ian and David Wright for their introduction.
