Wouldn't want to change too much based on the second half performance last week, but definitely needs to be two up top and making sure Gauld is through the centre. I'd pretty much go with the team that started the second half last week with McNulty in for Shaw and potentially Omenonga or Bigi in for Marv.

Rocky
Gray Daz Hanlon Whittaker
Omenonga or Bigi
Slivka Gauld Mallan
Flo Sparky

Maybe harsh on Shaw to be dropped after a goal and an assist but playing Aberdeen is a different kettle of fish.

Crisis?what crisis?.... looks a pretty strong set up. i'd be inclined to go with Mackie at left back though based on Johnson saying he plays centre back or right back

The shape of last weeks second half for me is crucial. Aberdeen play to nick a goal and boss midfield. To counter that we go 4 4 2 I think?

Rocky or Bogdan

Sir Dave Daz Paul Whitts

Barts

Gauld
I can definitely see the Sheep bossing that midfield. Can't see where the goals are coming from either :102::cheeky-smiley-031:

We scored three with that team last week?
Either I'm going mad or there's some formatting issue. I can only see a midfield of Barts and Gauld and no strikers in your post? Hence the tongue in cheek comment...

The team that starts will be the same team that finished last week with maybe McNulty in for Shaw. May and Murray didn't bring any of the new players in so I reckon they will stick with what they know.

How can you drop Shaw after this performance last week. Lad came on and was fucking outstanding.

And that's exactly what he's good at - coming on later in the game. I like Ollie but I would never start with him at the moment. The laddie is very good at feeding off good service to the strikers (and I'm hoping the service is going to improve big time) later in the game and when the opposition defenders have had a wee bit running about to do earlier. I would definitely start with McNulty, to have a right go at the Dons from the start.

  • I've said Johnson ahead of McGregor, but if Darren's in good nick and there's someone dropping back, he could easily get the nod
  • I'd like to see Milligan with a more mobile midfield ahead of him
  • I'd also like to see how Slivka or Mallan do with tweaks to the team, but I'm not sure who drops out. Maybe Bigirimana if he's not had time to bed in?
  • front three pick themself imo.

tough call, think new loans need to feature but not sure Dons is the best fixture to experiment
