Super John McGinn

That gammon Hun cvnt in the Chelsea end will be calling him all the fenians under the sun tonight get it right fuckin up them

Doesn’t get the mentions or the credit he deserves down there, we know he’s Super John McGinn. When you look at the cost of the Chelsea midfield compared to Super John, he had them all in his pocket.

I agree with your point but Alan Shearer was fulsome in his praise for Our Boy last night.

Hmm something no right at chelsea Kovacic is an absolute quality midfielder IMO, now potter has been sacked 🤷‍♂️

Another MOTM award, for SJ McG, how much do we think he’s worth now if he is being looked at Clubs abroad ?. £20M +.

Another masterclass from SJM again for the villains. A lot eating humble haggis on the villa forum. I just read the last two pages on today's performance. Apparently 10/10 MOM again for them.

Double it plus.
If that peeking faced *&*^ Fernandes at Man U is worth 46 million then SJM is worth at least that.
86 million for Antony? Lol.
The list of expensive dross at Chelsea needs comparison too.
The other Fernández at 106 million?
Hasn't kicked an arse yet.
And none of them has such an effective weapon as SJM.
His gluteus Maximus is worth 20 million.

I think the only issue with McGinn getting sold is that Villa are a big club, they've just been asleep at the wheel for a while. If they are in Europe and have a decent coach they'll likely have no reason to sell their best player. Ditto McGinn might have no desire to leave.

Indeed, but every player has a price. If Villa( and SJM) get offered silly money then.....

Villa will lose their keeper this season, that'll be the only high profile exit imo.

I think John's missed his chance for a big move, think big clubs bottled it cause he wasn't glamorous enough, missed the boat.

When John leaves Villa it'll be 2, 3 or 4 years down the road, if he's not playing.
Unless Newcastle reaaalllllyy want him. They're the wildcard just now, no idea where they'll go shopping and how much they can throw at it.

If a bigger and wealthier club than Villa want him, he will go.
Players play for money, especially in that league. However it will take one of the big London clubs, Manchester clubs, Liverpool or Newcastle to want him. I still don't rule it out.

I recall when he was sold some director or official from Villa said it was the most complex and complete transfer contract he'd ever seen.

I wonder if Hibs had something in there that would mean ongoing payments are triggered for the longer he plays for them/matches he's involved in the event he wasn't sold.

I also remember folk here and elsewhere being somewhat impressed by some of the outgoing deals we were pulling off at the time so it wouldn't surprise me.

I think it some feeling they need to get to really top players in to be in the champions league every year. Be careful what you wish for. Every team needs an sjm type player. Be a big windfall for us and shut the moaners up for being denied automatic group stages. Like sdg,Darren mcgegor ,Paul hanlon and Lewis Stevenson great hibbys and great guys.

I'm sure sir Alex was hoping he went to utd but they ignored his advice. He's just what they need

I wouldn’t rule out Celtic putting in a bid, would like to see in Italy with Napoli.

Doesn't really fit their recruitment model these days. The lessers tend to buy young and increase the value before moving on.

He might support them but doubt SJM would go from 80k a week to 30k a week at those Celtic dicks
SJM is on 120k p/w at Villa.
He has another 4-5 years in him at the top level.
He won't be coming back to Scotland.
And I would reckon he's still worth approx 40-50 million for the top clubs.
