Stevie Clark

Good.

I think thats a great appointment. Someone on the rise with a point to prove who has just got the maximum out of an unfancied squad.

So much more inspiring than Moyse, Lambert or another sacked dud which is what I was expecting.

No happy. He's too good, some Eng champ'ship side will have him away if he manages two wins in a row :(

Possibly, although he may have a bit more loyalty than Judas who did that very thing - and yet still got the gig for a second time when he was clearly a drooling fool.
Sir Walter of Cardigan fcuked off pretty smartly to the Huns when they clinked a few sovs in earshot didn't he........
Must be something that's inbred in Huns.

Might be all right with Stevie after all - pretty sure he's NOT a Hun.

The hun media will be all over any mistake like fat jabba and a lamb lunch

How many huns in the past half dozen squads? And I wonder if McGregor got a tip off Clark was gettin the gig?

Hopefully works out, Killie will be weaker next season which can only be good for us. Clarke won’t put up with players pulling out constantly aswell I’d guess.

Good luck to Steve Clark..he is going to need it.
He will need it.....as all managers do.
Saw him on telly just now and liked his attitude.
Piss him about if you like, but I think it would be one time only.

A sound manager leaving a club that has finished 3rd ,has fans pouring back and a place in Europe next season. Steve Clarke has achieved this and has chosen to leave at this point in time to manage a team (and I use the term loosely ) without being disrespectful a team in tatters with disillusioned fans.
Steve you're either a blinkered fool or a man with a vision and grit to succeed in bring back pride to the nation.
Personally I'd go with the latter.
He is a manager with a good job (Killie) not some dud or hasbeen.
Derek Mcinnes was quoted as saying he would be interested in Scotland job in the future but not at the moment (Dons may still get euro spot if tic beat jambos I believe) so he's not willing to stick his neck out and accept the poison chalice.
Steve C.has also mentioned the women's team and their success which I hope the nation gets behind.
Whatever happens to the Scotland squad success or failure I hope we remember that this man who had a good job was willing to step up to the plate and applaude him for trying.
All the best Steve Clarke you're a bigger man than most.

Scottish football is like Scottish politics, fractured beyond repair, and it's getting worse. Clarke is on a hiding to nothing. The Huns already hate him and also have a deluded disdain for the SFA and national team, so that's a large section of the support won't go or support. It all stems from what's happening at club level and until the EBT scandal is properly addressed it's only going to fester and affect the national team. There's also rangers own mindset where they refuse their players to play for Scotland with their imaginary withdrawal due to injury.
In other words, we could have Guardiola in charge and nothing would change because half the country really does hate the other abd will do anything to stifle progress if it means the target of their hate sees any improvement.
