It's incredibly difficult to find a credible source stating the length of Boylers contract at Al Faisaly. Usually the buying club releases a media statement which includes the length of the contract but I can't find one from Al Faisaly. The sources I can find have him contracted until June 2025. This would make sense given they have paid Hibs £3 million for his services.
Accordingly it will be a 32 year old Martin Boyle that returns to Hibs.
Excellent.
4 years younger than our newly signed winger.

Further evidence of our youth policy.

money talks
But it don't sing and dance and it dont walk.....

I'm hoping we can arrange a deal to get Boyler on loan until at least january. That would give him spl football up until the world cup and he would be back to Saudi in time for their Champions League game in Feb

Flashback to tango man comments on Boyler leaving;
Kensell said: "We agreed the clause that Martin would come back, as and when he wants to come back to the UK.

"We have first refusal on him, and I think that shows the nature of the negotiation and the nature of the relationship that I've got with Martin and the club has, and supporters have with Martin.

"He doesn't want to play anywhere else in the UK except for Hibs so hopefully we've got that position if Martin wants to come back after his adventure."

The league season for Al Faisaly starts in September so his club will require him.

If it’s anything like BK’s other clauses / contracts 😩😡

How does a team get relegated and qualify for the champions league?! Mental set up.

It says last 16, not sure how that tournament works but I assumed it was a continuation of this years.

In essence the Asian Champions League currently starts in April and ends in February the following year.
We are used to the European Champions League which begins in August and ends in May the following year.

However, beginning in season 2023/24 the Asian Champions League will switch to an Autumn to Spring timetable similar to that currently followed by Europe.

Yeah but the European tournament takes place during the actual European calendar (for the majority of participants)
Just thought it weird theirs was outside their calendar season.

Although, it might be within other competing nations league schedule tbf.

Interesting that the player trade union FIFPRO are warning players not to go to places like Saudi as there is a history of clubs not paying players wages.

Turkey is the country I have consistently heard players mention over the years about non payment of wages

Turkey and Saudi are one of seven countries at the moment players are being asked to avoid. Article the other day about it.
