SNP and Greens tie up

If we wait a bit longer, the buffoon and the effects of brexit will do it for us.
Even the blind will eventually see what a total shambles the Uk has become.

I am not sure it will, it feels we have lost the backing of a majority u[ here.

Bizarrely enough - or not I guess - the same thing is happening here in NL with the Dutch Labour Party and the Green Left party.

Still choosing a new government here 5 months after the gen electiins and it is not helping the efficiency levels we need to proactively plan ahead eith Covid.

Hopefully talkin to my good French mate Gilles tomorrow, Skype permitting, will hear a good honest view from him about Macron's increasing jingoistic looking autocracy. 'Lui, il n'est pas la France' to paraphrase De Gaulles.

SNP need a boot up the arse, both as a government and as the leading light for independence. Both seems to be stale as fuck just now. Some sort of loose agreement with The Greens won’t inject urgency into either IMO.
I generally agree with you but covid has been a real game changer and any talk from NS about independence would have been viscously assaulted on by the unionists and rightly so.

The SNP, party not government, have set up a working group and been working in the background on a cunning plan. I hope it works.

So as we have it the SNP, from their own resources, are working on a cunning plan while the torys are using the 'unlimited resources' of the British Empire government, thankfully under Gove, and the media to beg for the union.

It almost looks like a fair fight!

Let's see what comes out of Cop 26.Could be to their advantage as the Tories look out of their depth on yet another issue. How Dominic Rabb is keeping his job is beyond me(actually it isn't).

Did she talk about independence before Covid-19? She's done nothing to advance the case for independence.

Hmmm she’s been smart in a way though, she’s now got massive massive appeal to the Under 30s and deal with the Greens only boosts that.
If both parties can persuade those to vote more then it’ll happen in future.

I’m no gonna slag folk for voting Alba (as a few of my pals do) but this is how looks to young folk…..8A5C4965-EB09-4776-AAF3-F1946EA69E51.jpeg

The Green’s ? Every road will have space for one car but will have a 20ft cycle lane which cyclist’s don’t use cause they use the pavements.

SNP need to get on with pushing for Indy, I'm sure I'm not alone but my vote will be swinging to Alba if they can't get there arse in gear.

I think that’s a valid point, but at some point - soon - there has to be a push for Indy because the kids are more pro Indy than our generation

Rushing a referendum will just lead to another loss and that really will be the end of it.

My suspicion. The moment a successful Indy referendum is won by the SNP I give it months before the Scottish Parliament is shut down and bulldozed and Gordon Brown will be priapic at living in his beloved Northern Britain. again. I just do not see the current crop of Tories ever actually allowing an independant Scotland to happen.

I am a very cynical person as you no doubt see.
