Yep - a chum of Potter, and did he not make a bit of an arse of himself when he took over from Cathroda for a game or two? I seem to recall Brenda Rogers took him down a peg when Daly was pontificating as if he was a top manager rather than a cheap stand-in.
Potter then decided to take the job himself, so maybe he can groom Daly for the future.

There's a history of that sort of thing there you know.

Boot it up to the big lad, orchestrated professional fouling, long throws and time wasting at 1-0 up. Same pish they always do, regardless of their players. Zero intrigue IMO.
