A lot of cash but I suppose it makes sense given the Eredivisie along with the French and Portugese Leagues are best after the usual massive 4.
Not popular on here but I will be interested to see Hearts turnover for this upcoming season. Given the turnover you have found for Alkmaar, you would imagine a consistent turnover of at least £20 million per year will be required for Scottish teams outside the OF to make a reasonable stab at European competition.

The Gunts will not be short of that.

Hopefully scottish teams outside the OF can start to make money in Europe to boost their turnover to somewhere close to the Dutch team (£30 million) which horses DU last night. Hearts regrettably have the best chance and Doc Shrink of this parish reckons they will break £20 million this season)

Re Hearts, they don't appear to have a noticably stronger team than last season to take maximum financial advantage of their significant aEuropean opportunity. They have a similar sized squad to Hibs so don't even have increased numbers for a weekly Thursday and Sunday schedule. Rowles for Soutter and Shankland for Simms are fair enough replacements but the continued absense of Baningime through injury is significant and they still have only one real keeper.

Dont think hearts will get anywhere near £20m. The players they have signed suggest they dont have the money we think they have or they have just wasted millions yet again. Their squad looks weaker than last season and they wont cope with two games a week. If gordon gets injured or loses form then they will really struggle.

Their turnover in 2019 was £15 million.
This season they have sold out their season tickets, are guaranteed European group stage football and will get all the income streams that come with that so I am with Doc Shrink in thinking their turnover will top £20 million.
