Fell short of a contract renewal at Palace but a decent player all the same. How you could spend a loan spell there and still sign a permanent contract suggests he is not the full shilling!

I think they may have to settle for redeveloping Pittodrie in stages -as Hibs did with ER. Proposed plans to move to Kingswells were canned (yet their training complex is there) and the idea of a new stadium at the beach will have opposition. I worked with one Sheep ST holder who said he would never go back if they moved out of town. His reason? The owner of a few boozers in Aberdeen (including his local) laid on a free bus for every home game picking up fans from all his pubs and getting them to the game in time. “My local’s the last stop and I can drink till quarter to three and still be in ma seat for kickoff”. The idea of having to leave for the game half an hour earlier just did not wash with him.
