Well it 's that time again. The list of players leaving SP clubs at the end of their contracts will surface after this weekends games.
However, there has already been a little bit of business done and a few leaving players officially announced.
I will update the list as announcements of in's and outs are announced. Please add any I have missed.

Hibs
Released
- Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson

St Mirren
In
Shaun Rooney after his contract at Fleetwood expired
James Scott whose loan to permanent from Exeter obligation is triggered
Extended Contract Alex Gogic has signed a new 3 year contract

Motherwell
In
Andy Halliday whose loan to permanent from Hearts obligation is triggered

Hearts
In
Beni Baningime looks like he is signing a new contract which unfortunately is a big boost for them
Released - Peter Haring, Michael McGovern and the aforementioned Andy Halliday

Dundee Utd
In
Louis Moult has triggered a years extension
Craig Sibbald has signed a new 2 year contract

Out Scott McMann who is a 27 year old left back who would be good cover for Obita

Good stuff Jack. Only thing I’d say is the inconsistency between an “In” and “Extended Contract” will trigger my OCD!!!

Sorry Zab, I'll tidy it up when the retained lists start appearing over the next few days.

It's now official, Beni Baningime has signed a 2 year contract at Hearts which unfortunately is a big boost for them.

Kilmarnock and Dundee are both trying to sign Bruce Anderson whose contract at Livingston expires in 2 weeks time.

In other news Dundee have announced an EGM on 3rd June. They are looking to do some jiggery pokery to turn £9 million of debt into shares.
It's double dutch to me. I didn't understand it when Hibs did it a few months ago and I don't understand what Dundee are up to.
Perhaps business types on here could explain it.

Basically a debt for equity swap; the debt (loan) has an interest rate and will also have a repayment date whereas equity (shares presumably) doesn’t. Having an equity stake entitles you to returns via profit therefore rather than just write off debt, they can recover their loss if they so happened to sell a player for a lot of money in the future via a dividend for example.

Hope that makes sense?

I’ve not read about what theyve actually done but that’s the usual premise.

They will be wanking over their rulers as we speak. They booed him in Europe last season from mammary.

Greg Docherty has left Hull after his contract expired. He is 27.
A possible for Hibs, Hearts or Aberdeen?
Did we not get him in a short term loan swap for the rat Kamberi?

Did quite well from what I recall.

I thought Docherty was really good for Hibs. McGinn light.
In truth I think he will be trying to get himself another team in the English Championship.

10 players are leaving Livingston following relegation, while a further four have been made available for transfer.

Mikey Devlin is away after a relegation clause in his deal was activated.

Jason Holt’s hasn't accepted the offer of reduced terms.

James Penrice signed a pre-contract at Hearts.

Andrew Shinnie, Bruce Anderson, Joel Nouble, Ayo Obileye, Kurtis Guthrie, Jack Hamilton and Morgan Boyes contracts have expired.

Stephen Bradley, David Carson, Mo Sangare and Miles Welch-Hayes remain under contract but have been put on the transfer list.

Martindale remains in contract discussions with Cristian Montano and Sean Kelly.

I don't see any of the above being of interest to Hibs in a close season where we should only looking for starters and a left back deputy.

Dundee have announced that Tyler French, Shaun Byrne and Jack Wilkie have all departed with their deals expired.

A number of loanees including Owen Beck and Amadou Bakayoko have returned to their parent clubs.

He always seemed like he thought he should be doing better. Which was good, cause it drove him to do better.

Don't think he'll want back up the road so soon, but stranger things have happened!

Good player. Especially at this level.

And neither of they three are good enough to be our right back.
None of them are the full package.
I prefer Miller of the 3 at the moment. A robust defender. His biggest issue is stupidity.
Cadden I would sell.
Megwa is on course at only 20 after proving himself at Championship level this season. Next level for him would be proving himself on loan at the likes of St Johnstone next season.

I prefer Cadden to Miller. Better player all round.

I would never help St Johnstone whilst Nae Medals is there. Raith Rovers (Ian Murray), Dunfermline (James McPake) or Hamilton (John Rankin), I would be happy for Hibs to help.

Cadden looks a good player but is he a good enough defender and are the accuracy of his crosses good enough. Hibs will have all the numbers.
Modern day full back is a tough gig and a guy bombing on will always compromise the defence in a back 4 leading to more lost goals so unless their attacking prowess at the other end is making more goals you have an issue.
For me a back 4 of Stevenson, Hanlon, Fish and Miller this season loses a lot less goals than Obita, Bushiri, Fish and Cadden. It also results in less goals scored by Hibs but not as many as we save.
If playing Cadden and Obita I would much prefer playing a back 3 which Mongomery wasn't interested in.
It would be great to speak to a coach at Hibs about this even if it just ended up with him smiling knowingly before telling me I was wrong and why.

Re Megwa It's not about helping other teams, it's strictly about developing Megwa for Hibs. He's proved himself at Championship level this season and we are/should be 2 levels above that so the next stage for him is playing for one of the lesser lights in our league.
I reckon Ross County will win the play off so based on that the options for development of Megwa next season are Ross County, St Johnstone and at a push Motherwell.

Kilmarnock have released their retained list.
Interesting loan returns and players in negotiations over new contracts.
Paul Hanlon would be a good replacement for Stuart Findlay if they can't afford to bring him back.
Will Dennis could easily turn up at Hibs over the summer

Jack Sanders, Kerr McInroy, Aaron Quigg and Steven Warnock will not be offered fresh deals.

Will Dennis, Corrie Ndaba, Stuart Findlay, Tom Davies, James Balagizi and Kevin Van Veen are heading back to their parent clubs.

And Liam Polworth, Marley Watkins, Gary Mackay-Steven, Greg Stewart, Innes Cameron plus Kieran O’Hara remain in talks over new deals.

Am I right in saying if Atalanta win the Europa, the Gunts get a better round ?.
I think that is already screwed because Real Madrid beat Dortmund

What I originally read was victories for Dortmund over Real Madrid and Atalanta over Bayer Leverkusen would have seen Hearts in the group stage of the Europa League

They dont play until 1st June.

Scratch that then :sm132: .
So victories for Dortmund over Real Madrid and Atalanta over Bayer Leverkusen would see Hearts in the group stage of the Europa League

Goalie Signings

St Mirren
have replaced their loan goalie with a new loan goalie.
24 year old Ellery Balcombe will join them on a season-long loan from Brentford, replacing the void left by Zach Hemming who returned to Middlesbrough.

Hearts are bringing in 28 years old Ryan Fulton whose contract expires at Hamilton. He will be 3rd choice.

Liam Kelly has said his goodbyes at Motherwell and will be trapping at Rangers where he will take over from Jon McLaughlin as back up keeper

Celtic continue to be linked with a different keeper every day

Motherwell Retained List

Liam Kelly's exit from Motherwell has been confirmed as he leads the out of contract players leaving Fir Park.

Callan Elliot, Calum Butcher, Barry Maguire and Blair Spittal will also leave the club.

Matty Connelly, Stephen O’Donnell, Bevis Mugabi, Callum Slattery and Sam Nicholson have all been offered new deals

Full St Mirren Retained List:

Jaden Brown, Zach Hemming and Hyeokkyu Kwon.

Offers made:
Ryan Flynn, Luke Kenny and Gallagher Lennon.

There is no credible transfer news this week.
A few players signing contract extentions and Rangers signing a centre half by the Friday is it.

Hopefully things get moving next week with only 6 weeks until the first League Cup games in mid July.
