Goal of the season so far, and for me the best goal I have seen scored in scottish football this year.
Absolutely brilliant dive header....a dying art in the game.
Can't remember Scott scoring a goal like that in his career, and he waits till he is 36 to score that cracker.

He scored a diving header v celtc at ER before he signed for them

Yeah, I remember that one right enough. Hibs won 2-1 that day.
Just thought his goal on Wednesday was something really special.
Aberdeen cheated out of a win with a ridiculous penalty award.

Cant find the video anywhere.
20th May 2007
Hibs 2-1 celtic
Brown equalised with diving header and sproule scored the winner

Wasn't it his last game for Hibs , i'm sure he got injured later on
I think it was his best game in a Hibs shirt. He absolutely burst a gut to prove he wouldn't be downing tools despite agreeing to join them.
Great performance, excellent goal - and I think he might've tried to have a go at Lennon as well after booting him up in the air! (*This was maybe an earlier game..... But i don't think so)?

Got a yellow i think for back heeling him at a throw in.

I thought his best game was the semi final replay v dunfermline - strange when we lost but he was absolutely outstanding probably similar to your comment about his last game v celtic he was busting a gut as everyone knew he would be leaving at the end of the season. I remember one run think he beat 4 or 5 players but the keeper saved it IIRC. don't forget this was only a few days after the meeting at petries house and it looked like no one else really gave a fuck maybe that's why he stood out even more. These were the days before Strachan turned into a Lennon type holding midfielder what a fuckin waste

Scott for me is still the best talent to have come through at Hibs.
I remember his last game and that goal
Was a weird game, all 4 stands celebrated that goal
Thomas Graveson was playing like he was in a comedy charity match, weird stuff.

Quite recently seen the Ivan hat trick at Hunbrox, Scott made one of those goals with a lung busrting run and I forgot just how quick he actually was. Mental that Strachan turned him into a holding midfielder, which tbf he did come good.

He outran lovenkrands who was fast as fuck over about 70 yards. Sure he had 2 similar runs in that game outstanding. Good to see him getting in that zombie *&*^ hallidays face (again 🤣) today too. Say what you want about broony but he fuckin hates huns/diet Huns)

The love Brown gets from a lot of our support is strange at times. Handed in a transfer request after a game, captained Celtic for many years and then decided he’d rather play for Aberdeen than us.

I can’t stand Celtic, and don’t like that we seem to have many Celtic sympathisers in our support, so maybe that has a part in it.

Nowhere near goal of the season either. Good goal, nothing more.

I detest celtc… not got a clue how you get celtc sympathisers from any of the above.
So Hibs tried to sign him and he knocked us back for the sheep? Thats a new one

Brown claims that he wanted Hibs fans to remember him as a young star and that he might not fulfil our expectations so he decided the Sheep was his new home.
Other rumour is he only said that after Hibs told him we weren’t interested in him.
Who knows?
