I can see where you're coming from as Scotland did not play to their best in that game. All their best play was in the build up, without ever getting that final ball to the striker(s), as there were too many long range shots rather than incisive moves.
I thought the Fins came for a draw and would have been delighted with the result. It will be a tough ask for the Scots women next week.
However, I would have thought you would have enjoyed the atmosphere at the game. It really is totally different from the men's game. The kids - mostly young girls - add an excitement that has to be experienced as it is sheer encouragement from start to finish. And your granddaughter would have told you about the interaction between the players and the crowd at the end of the game. No running straight down the tunnel for them, a la Ronaldo!
