Here's a match report from Easter Road. The lassies played in high heels boots apparently.....

Been nagged into going to Scotland v Finland tonight at ER by the granddaughter am not a big fan of the women's game but see Scotland are unbeaten in last few games so might be my chance to see my first victory this season
Well done, you - and your granddaughter for nagging you.
I guarantee you will see at least a couple of Scottish players who are world class, and a few others who are very good indeed.
Finland have become a wee bit of a bogey team and so a good result tonight will be needed for the second leg.
Enjoy and I hope you become a fan of the Scottish team - at least!

I've been to a few of the big (Hibs) women's games over the years.
You might be pleasantly surprised with the quality on show.
Just don't keep comparing it to the men's game - it's slower and less physical - but given what we've seen at ER this season so far, it's not necessarily a lesser game.

I have never been so bored in my life as I was tonight
That was murder that's 2 hrs am never getting back
I can see where you're coming from as Scotland did not play to their best in that game. All their best play was in the build up, without ever getting that final ball to the striker(s), as there were too many long range shots rather than incisive moves.
I thought the Fins came for a draw and would have been delighted with the result. It will be a tough ask for the Scots women next week.
However, I would have thought you would have enjoyed the atmosphere at the game. It really is totally different from the men's game. The kids - mostly young girls - add an excitement that has to be experienced as it is sheer encouragement from start to finish. And your granddaughter would have told you about the interaction between the players and the crowd at the end of the game. No running straight down the tunnel for them, a la Ronaldo!
I'm sure your granddaughter will be nagging you again soon.

The game was a bit pedestrian but 100 years later it gave Nancy Sinatra an idea for her big hit 👍

They took their chances, the girls didn’t.

Is Pedro’s contract up, or does he have the World Cup…………..I think they need a change.
