It’s getting ever near and perhaps it’s cos I live in England but.... I’m shiteing it. The smart money is on them winning comfortably and the thought of putting up with crowing English people is enough to drive me to the old irn bru
 
England have far better players, and are capable of giving us a pasting.
However, football doesn't always work like that, thank fcuk.

Just hanging on to the slim possibility that it may be one of them days someone above is smiling on us
 
We have defied the odds before many times when playing England.

I was really surprised to see how well we have done historically in this fixture over the years given the difference in both countries size and population.

England without a doubt strong favourites, and they have a decent chance of winning the tournament to be honest.

I think Scotland could do better than expected. Actually winning one of these group games will be an achievement. Wish we had a reliable goalscorer, something we have not had in many years and is essential at international level.

Booked in to watch it up town, cousins stag do
Wanted to get away for it, but wasn't really on the cards.

I dont mind if we lose as long as we're competitive, we could easily give them a fright though, we look harder to beat.

Not usually too interested in Scotland games anymore, but its slowly coming back.

Yeah I think realistically you are right. The last time we went Wembley we were swept aside 3-0. If we can give them a game it will be a decent effort. Just a shame really the gap is so big now. I remember my dad saying when he went these games, Scotland beating England was very realistic and you are right, the head to head gap isn’t that great. It was nip and tuck for a long time, England only starting to move ahead in the relatively recent past
 
Got tickets for the earlier game on that day of the other teams in Scotland's group at Hampden, Croatia Czech Republic. Might be crucial in deciding Scotland's fate but will have the Scotland England game to look forward to. Going to be quite a day...
