It'll be an interesting call for Clarke. Does he play them to have a better shot at a favourable play off spot or keep them for a tough semi final?

Looking at the teams currently seeded a draw might not be enough. A win would seed us, but we'd be completely reliant on Wales losing to Belgium if we draw.

Mental that yellow cards carry over to the playoffs. Puts the teams from the groups of 6 like us at a disadvantage as more games = more chances to pick up cards

Never been to Scotland game before, yer making me feel Auld. Went to my first one 49 years ago today.

We beat Denmark 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier.

Let's hope for a repeat of that scoreline.

I've still got a lot of reservations about this Scotland team, but I've got the bug back and I'll certainly look to get along in the coming months.

Hope we do get a play off game at Hampden at least, there won't have been an atmosphere at Hampden like that for a Scotland game for a long long time.

Absolutely brilliant from Scotland. Steve Clarke has really found a way to get results and now performances out of this team. I think we looked a better footballing team without Dykes. Adams was excellent, but McGinn is just a machine.
