Great piece of business for the Gunts signing Shanklanstein on a 3 year deal last season. The fat Jambo BBC reporter was rightfully smug in announcing it. Scoring freely for club and country it will surely take a multi-million £ deal to prise him away from The Gorgie Gonads.

Dae the gunts still get paid for him being in the World Cup squad? Was he still a gunt when the squad was announced?
 
Terrible news for Scotland with Billy Gilmour being ruled out of the World Cup with a knee injury picked up in pre-tournament kick about.
Even worse news for the player himself.
Really feel for him....he will be devastated.
Scotland really can't afford to be without our key players for this World Cup.

So you think that having some warm up games before a World Cup(something we rarely ever get too)....is a waste of time?
 
We already know how Scotland will set up. 10-0-0 and maybe a couple of shots off target before going out 1-0 to Haiti in extra time after a huff and puff borefest.
 
Rare that I agree with Tom English but his BBC article was on the money regarding Shankland - has to start against Haiti

No.
For the squad and the management, they are very important for pre tournament preparation.
However they are just not competitive or entertaining, and are basically training sessions that fans shouldn't be asked to pay to watch.
