Good win and great hat-trick. I've never known so many international 'breaks'. Israel were mince apart from two wonder goals out of nothing. I'm not a great fan of Forrest but you have to give him credit. To be honest I'm glad it's over so we can get back to club football.

Normal qualifying first , if you dont make it nations is the back door . Bit weird if norway serbia and finland all qualify as normal and scotland dont does that mean scotland qualify from nations , sure someone will clarify . Need to avoid Serbia methinks

I think there will still be play offs with 2nd place teams from nations?
 
The Celtc contingent saving the day a bit here. Rest of the side are less familiar with each other and are reliant on McLeish's tactics and coaching, which is why Andy Robertson plays like he's recovering from a stroke and Fraser is passing it to nobody over and over and half the side have just told him to fuck off.

Ludicrous appointment. If they wanted a useless alcoholic hun they might as well have gone with Gazza - at least it would have been less predictable

I do too. But - as is also true of the whole back line imo - it's a thankless job right now. It looks like nothing is being done in training because it's only the guys who are/have been part of this Celtic group that seem to be able to link up with each other. SJM has been shite for Scotland recently, having the ball taken off his feet and doing nothing with possession, even though he's in the form of his career for Villa every week. GJP is sinking the boat

He did...Once again it shows how important it is in football to have a proper front man who can play with his back to goal and link up with others. Fletcher has been and is a superb striker but his career has been badly hampered with injury.
