The best Bond, probably given my age.

This is a cool story

That's a great story.

He always came across as a decent bloke in interviews etc, although I didn't rate him as Bond.
He was pretty cool in Maverick and The Saint, although less so in the Persuaders with Tony Curtis, who apparently he didn't get on with.

Oh aye, he was Ivanhoe too, but not many Bouncers will recall that I reckon.......

What a brilliant story!

My mrs worked with him (in a minor capacity, she's not Grace Jones or something) and said he was a delight. Used to stay to the end and help tidy up the green room while nattering away to the old girl who ran it. Complete gentleman.

Great story - I love guys like that, who don't let fame turn them into tosspots. Give me this sort of thing over a tortured artiste any day of the week.

Great actor, although not my favourite Bond. That was definitely Sean Connery.
I liked him in the Saint and he also starred in a lesser known movie that I liked called
The Man who Haunted himself. He had a style and appeal which endeared him to many.

RIP Sir Roger

A fine actor and clearly a decent fellow. I liked his Bond though he was my 2nd favourite after Connery. Always thought he was great in 'The Wild Geese'.

R.I.P.
