Saw Toots and the Maytals in a small club in Prenzlauerberg in 1997. They were incredible. Couldn't believe how much energy he had for a guy his age. Played pretty much all of Funky Kingston including my favourite, his cover of John Denver's Country Roads. R.I.P.
His(their) music always got folk dancing at scooter ? rallies. All our bar staff used to dance whilst attempting to pour ? pints,not any easy task.
