Chairman Marinakis left the directors box and the stadium after 66 minutes. The sacking was announced 19 minutes after the game.
 
I have a wee soft spot for Ange tbh. Probably because he speaks his mind and is not a 'yes man' .

He did have Celtic playing some lovely high tempo football and there was a spell at Tottenham when he had them scoring for fun.

I really felt it for him with his comments in the presser yesterday. You could tell he was hurting inside and he pretty much knew his time was up.

Good luck to the big man ,I hope he finds a club that suits his footballing philosophy.

He was a very unpopular choice and Nuno was extremely well liked so it was difficult from the very beginning. His gurning and agressive attitude did not do anything to endear him to the support.Everytime you looked at the guy he seemed to be scowling at some news man or practically anything/one. His act didn't last long and it was a big fcuk off from the fans.Every fan I spoke to hated him. Maybe if he could have won a game, but he couldn't do that either.

Suddenly, there are tickets going spare. One against Porto in Europe will cost you £70 though. They supposedly have an extended 50,000 seat stadium on the way too.

The owner is a fucking rocket. Everyone and their dug knew that Postecoglu wasn't a right fit for Forest. Ffs Ange himself should've known that. The best man for that job was in the fuckin job. Nuno was and is a very good coach and a great fit for Forest.

I'm not entirely sure how long he was in the job, or how many millions he walks (skips) away with - but I'll bet "Big Ange" thinks it was worth it.

The players don't have the energy to win
because the club owner eats all their
breakfasts and lunches. He should be
running a restaurant, not a football club.

Marinakis is an absolute disgrace and he's by no means on his own, but he regularly brings the game into disrepute. He is an embarrassment to the club. He behaves like a small child who can't get his own way. Witness the leaving the ground after 66 minutes yesterday. He once did similar on an away trip and nobody could find him. His torn-up staff pass was found in a nearby garden. A problem for him is that he makes decisions emotionally and he cannot control his anger. He has a very shady past too. If Postecoglou says too much he might want to consider what size concrete overcoat he wears.

I read an article reporting Ange and the loony owner had a punch up in the tunnel at full time.

That woudn't normally surprise me at all although he was reported ashaving left the ground early. Marinakis has been involved in jostling officials in the tunnel. The last time I went to see them he came running on the pitch at the final whistle after a supposedly controversial decision. He could have been taking a short cut to the hot dog stand to be fair.

I see that the local paper is full of it. I'm still a little surprised though as I thought Marinakis' ego would see him trying to bring in a top European coach. Mancini has been mentioned. Dyche is not a good choice or fit for Forest, it's a little like Hibs bringing in someone like Derek McInnes, dull and uninspiring for a support who like to see a bit of sparkling football if possilble. He was signed as a player at Forest years ago but never played a game and has no real relationship with the fans. It feels like bringing in a Poundland Sam Allardyce.

The only thing that will make this work for him and Forest is if he starts winning lots of games. I don't see that happening as the squad of players are not good enough. I'll stick my neck out and say this won't work, it's a big mistake. He will not be popular or accepted - unless some big results start coming along.

Its damage limitation for Forest; about staying in the league. Dyche is bread and butter Stu. They need to stop the rot. The fitba wont be too pretty for the next wee while.
