Nothing surprises you anymore.

It's getting to the point that your better off not calling police or ambulance.
 
I'm not sure corruption is the right word in this circumstance but it and so many other cases recently don't paint the Met Police in a good light.

Institutionally corrupt.

Institutionally racist.

Institutionally misogynistic.

Institutionally has a political bias.

Institutionally incompetent.

Institutionally pretty shit at policing.
 
Another police officer with a double life away from work.
Sexual predators getting themselves into positions of trust continues to be a real issue be they teachers, cops, youth leaders, footballers, sports coaches, politicians, carers, TV personalities, priests, ministers, doctors etc etc.
Humans are despicable creatures.

Rape is about power.The police are there to keep the ruling class in power.This particular individual was ignored almost from the day he was taken on by the Met.He was there keeping the ruling class in power at the end of a gun barrel.The police were quite clearly happy for him to carry on as he was,ask no questions,cause no problems, shut the fuck up and Gordon Brown to Richi Sunak will get from Westminster to Downing Street safe to missrule us forever.The police are corrupt, the system is corrupt.

Wouldn't go that far moaty. Thousands of good police officers, but just like any other walk of life, there's always a few horrible bastards mate.

That is 800 police officers or support staff over the last 10 years and will include many incidents where they have had a raised voice argument with their partner and a neighbour has called the Police.
This guy David Carrick, has been a horrible violent sexual deviant individual who should not have been a police officer but the pile on to tar thousands and thousands of people who happen to work in the same occupation as, at best, misogynists is a massive and unfair leap.
Of course police officers and support staff should be properly vetted and their off duty behaviour should not bring the police service into disrepute but this pile ons is akin to stereotyping any massive group of people with the traits of a few in their group who have done terrible things.

Good and bad in all walks of life, police are no different, not angels and not very trustworthy, created by the rich to protect the rich.

I think its a fair question.

I don't think they are particular deviants but they do have form for looking after their own.
