Can see their point of view, the revenue from the home games is obviously important, but double the away fixtures to the OF is a distinct sporting disadvantage.

I don't see the problem, Rangers don't exist so no old firm.
Arguably the gunts will only give them half the amount of tickets that Partick give them so evens out in end. I've no idea on how many seats Partick or the gunts sell to away teams just guessing.
Presume the gunts or sheep or both are at Partick, they'll take a fair support so again it's not that big a loss.
What pisses me off the most about this is the old attitude "we need them"
Partick should be happy they only have to put up with them once this season.
