Should be a good game tonight.
Dipo Akinyemi missing for Ayr United through illness....a massive blow to lose such a player for a huge game like this.
24 goals he has scored for them this season.
I fancy Partick over the two legs. Doolan has done a great job with them.

Partick hammering Ayr 3-0 with brian Graham getting 2 of them but missed an absolute sitter as well so should’ve had a hat trick

3-0 full time.
Can't see Ayr hauling that back next Friday.
Really impressive performance from Partick Thistle.
Ayr were poor in comparison...Bullen did say before the game that there had been a bug in the camp all week, so maybe that affected them but they were a well beaten team tonight. Missed Akinyemi massively and they must be hoping he is ready to play next week, but I think it's beyond them anyway.

2-0 Partick Akinwemni sent off. It’s no looking good for Ayr.

The tie was all but over anyway, but Akinyemi being sent off finished it as any sort of competitive match.
Might have been frustration but it was a stupid thing to do so early in the game right in front of the ref.
Ayr have relied so much on him this season, but IMO his form has declined as the season has went on and teams started to suss him out a bit.
He's 25 and scored 25 goals this season, but you have to wonder why no bigger club in England or Scotland has taken him on before now. He definitely has talent and is a big, strong lad and a good finisher, but I wonder if he has the self-discipline and hunger to play effectively at a higher level ? If he signs for Hibs this summer however he will suddenly be the best striker in the country !
I fancy Partick to win the play-off, especially if it's against Ross County.
