Parental Guidance Requested College students want warning labels on literature.

Read a disturbing article in this recently where one bright spark protested the idea that it was a good idea to be exposed to a range of thought, given liberalism had already identified what was best in all cases.

So the precious darlings are actually insisting on not being educated, and being protected from incorrect ideas - meanwhile with the other hand insisting their own peccadilloes are smashed down the throats of everyone else.

Still pc is just about people being polite isn't it, nothing to see here....

Isn't the point of college to explore and be exposed to new ideas free from the constraints of ideology. At least I thought it was. The amount of self censoring we do is staggering.

Which I recall, and to me it's one thing to be censored (which I find wrong and abhorrent) and yet still another to demand self censorship and force that upon others, which to me is the far greater of the two evils.

But then at least in America, the most controlling group of thought police isn't the far right. It's the liberal progressive left, "who know what's best for you".

Don't you just love the left? Well, I'm sure they will tell us whether we do or not!
