He goes and hangs out with them already. Theres been pictures of him out for a meal or lunch or something with them all quite recently.

If only brute force football in Scotland was a thing if the past, we might have had some technical ingenuity like the danish.. 🤷‍♂️ We will never ever learn
 
Clarke’s win % is pretty brutal as manager I believe? Need 6 points from the next 2 games, not even convinced we’ll beat Moldova on Saturday 😞
 
It all adds up, the reason our clubs are push in europe is the same. The cloggers get away with it week in and week out, in europe it doesnt happen. Look at the atrocious refs so far this season! Tesms kicking us off the park and refs let it go! Its constant. The sheep bern doing it fir years like the gunts, livi at the weekend. We will never progress technically if that kind if football is tolerated. SFA need to clamp down on refs to stamp it out.. fav tactics fir tesms in Scotland is take turns to kick the technical players all game. I have no hope ever of it changing
 
The stats are brutal.
Should just read 0 all the way down, most of it is.

Denmark are a good side, but they shouldn't be completely outclassed us like that.

Most of these players are used to playing on the front foot at their clubs. Instead of harnessing that, the manager uses a very passive negative approach that we don’t have the personnel to actually do.

Steve Clarke will waste this group of players with these shite, our dates tactics.
 
There is definitely a win at all costs mentality in scotland. How anybody can watch aberdeen or hearts is beyond me. Kids on the whole dont want to learn the basics as they think they dont need to. Best training method I found as a kid was kicking the ball off a wall at an angle then controlling the ball with either foot. Can't see anything changing as long as the status quo is maintained to suit two clubs.
 
He's a club manager. His tactical nous is perfect to getting a Kilmarnock punching above its weight. At international level his tactics are not working. To think we've just given him a new contract. Wow...

For sure. Weegie or not Turnbull is a fantastic footballer. Plays the game the way it should be played. Start of last season Turnbull bossed us for Motherwell and controlled the match. Lennon's downfall was partly linked to not having enough trust in Turnbull after signing him and leaving him out his side. Looks like Clarke has taken his cue from Lennon.

The laddie must be getting pissed off with managers who cant see the obvious. You build a midfield around him not stick him on at the end when the damage has been done. And it's a mystery why that useless Kenny McLean gets a game ahead of him. A bog standard club player with no guile or creativity.

Liam Henderson & Ryan Gould are 2 other quality midfielders Clarke doesnt even consider. What is it about Scotland managers that turns them into conservative fearties who'd rather kick and hoof than play football the way it's meant to be played which is on the deck, with quick movement and one touch passing.

And then there's Lyndon Dykes...

Its been what ive been talking about fir ages… managers too scared to try and progress into a football team, they’d rather keep useless defensive formats, which even that we simply don’t have the players, kick everything that moves…they just dont know how to utilise creative football players as so set in their attitude..the priority in the game should be too produce AND know how to use them. We ate about 40 years behind the whole of europe

To be honest we have to beat Austria in Vienna as well. Where are the goals going to come from and our defence leaks like a sieve.

my hibs fan head on says, hope he is subbed uninjured at half time and isn’t stripped for Wednesday. There’s a big game on Sunday.

I hope Nisbet plays well and scores tonight, and again on Wednesday… I want him going into that derby fit, on form and full of confidence.
