Anyway, anyone got recomendations for suits in Edinburgh?

My last one was one of the M&S Italian ones. I like it, but it's 10 years old now and feels a little dated.

I'm not gonna go for a tweed one cause I'd look like a right plum.

I'm after one that'll do interviews & weddings. (No, not so I don't personally have to turn up).

Not gonna go get one made from scratch (as I assume that's gonna be 1k+) but happy-ish to go for around 500.

Thoughts?

If you venture just out of Edinburgh, The Livingston Designer Outlet is not a bad shout. I got a few decent suits for work out of there recently for a fraction of what you would pay for them normally. M&S, French Connection, Next and Moss all do suits through there.

You still can't go wrong with M&S range - the one endorsed by Jamie Redknapp has an Italian feel too. The M&S outlets are great for picking up a quality suit for a sensible price. Picked up one from the Redknapp range for my eldest for his annual uni Sports Ball at Murrayfield for less than half price.

His team are in Edinburgh 18 and 19 July. Prices are within your range but you're getting a proper fitted suit designed around you rather than off the peg. I know a guy who had one done and he was made up with it.

Went to John Lewis then M&S, then TM Lewin today.

Got my suit in TM Lewin. Really good prices & service. Happily recommend them to any one. And, even though they're on George Street, they're not the wanky prices that go along with the general bars & outlets there.

Similar question but for Dundee and is needed for an interview. I know there's M&S and a Slaters.
However is there any other places, someone is willing to recommend.
