Hi all,

Moved to Edinburgh a few weeks ago and will be looking to go to a few Hibs games from now on. Originally from Wales although have been living abroad for many years.

Only other team I support is Wellington Phoenix in New Zealand my former local. They're currently having their best season in history and will probably manage to get to the final few weeks of the season until they choke the title. Positive times.

Fun fact, buying a season ticket for my other former local Aalesunds FK (formerly 1st Div Norway) was the same price as a single adult ticket to tonight's game v Celtic (£32). The true cost was having to watch AFK try and play football though. Still, the other teams were quality.

I am attempting to get to the Celtic game tonight although being a new member I can't buy a Class A ticket for a year. Is there anyway around this? I have an Edinburgh address now if that makes a difference?

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Afraid we seem to get a lot of these requests around the time we play Celgers, Rantic and the Smelly Farts. Doubt anyone will help you mate.

You can have my ticket tonight if you clear my overdraft?

Good luck getting a ticket for tonight. Some people on here don’t fancy our chances they might lend you their season for a couple of pints.

Hibs will sell you one for the Dundee game no problem.
Class B games are probably better for my finances right now anyway. I was surprised to pay 15 quid for a Spartans home game the other week, definitely got a spot of culture shock from that. Used to buying cheap football tickets in Norway which coincidently is the only thing that could be considered cheap there. Thanks anyway all.

What one you part of ?

If ye had just been upfront I'm sat in the house.

I'd have still told ye naw
Thats fine, I'm not the one wasting money whilst sitting home. There's a fair portion of this fanbase that is genuinely unhinged mentally, as someone who just wants to watch the footy I'm a fan as it makes up for good entertainment at half time. Watched in a Leith pub and half the Hibs fans were starting on the other half that were also Hibs fans. Quite enjoyable overall. Will deffo go again.

Glad you enjoyed your night

Some effort in your original post

But you ken who Albert kidd is 😉
I've also just realised after googling who Albert Kidd is that I mistook your comment for calling me undercover police (CSC = Community Support Constable in the Welsh valleys) which is why I originally found it amusing as I thought people were being overly paranoid, my bad on that. What does CSC actually mean here. Genuinely my bad for coming to the Hibs forum without knowing the history beforehand.
