I like pink strips, always think Palermo are kitted out tremendous. Not keen on this latest trend of 'highlighter pen' colours for away tops tho. Could have been very decent.

I used to play for a team who had the opposite of the pink strip - black with pink stripes. We used to get wolf whistled when we walked on to the field so the pink strip is a definite no no for me. That said, I think statistics bear out that teams that play in brighter colours tend to win more so maybe there was a bit of science in the choice.

Home strip is piss poor.

I agree - things like Palermo or Juve away are excellent uses of what was once the colour of manhood before the Victorians switched it with the blue which historically represented femininity.

However this cerise - I think is the right name - is simply tasteless and is the kind of thing that is probably done to be 'edgy' as an end itself by some particular banal thinker somewhere.

I'm not completely with you on the highlighter pens generally - the luminous yellow or orange I think can be quite a dramatic away strip as barca have had in recent years (had both actually). Highlighter green isn't as good and not seen anybody do the blue.
