I've just been contacted by YouGov to ask what extra powers I think Scotland should get, what the priorities should be for Scotland and also which powers should be devolved elsewhere in the UK.

Was given a series of options to prioritise - all the usual main government department responsibilities.

Not sure who has commissioned the research but somebody at Westminster has. Would imagine either Labour or the Tories.

I'll bet the series of options didn't include tying Compo ,Clegg & Foggy to a post & shooting them with a blunderbuss full of their own shite.

Why give any options when they have no intention of implementing them?

Speak about adding insult to injury?

bastards.

The motion that has been put to Parliament, according to STV tonight

Better Together parties put forward motion for more Scottish powers | Scotland | News

The motion in full: That this House welcomes the result of the Scottish independence referendum and the decision of the people of Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom; recognises that people across Scotland voted‎ for a Union based on the pooling and sharing of resources and for the‎ continuation of devolution inside the United Kingdom; notes the statement by the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition regarding the guarantee of and timetable for further devolution to Scotland; calls on the Government to lay before Parliament a Command Paper including the proposals of all three UK political parties by 30th October and to consult widely with the Scottish people, civic Scotland and the Scottish Parliament on these proposals; further calls on the Government to publish heads of agreement by the end of November and draft clauses for the new Scotland Bill by the end of January 2015."

Is that the option that was given on Thursday that was rejected?

Why is it that those Yes appear to loathe the reality that extra devolution is coming our way?

Because it's a runners up medal.

& it's a 2nd prize that Cameron didn't think was necessary on the Ballot slip.

& his promise or 'vow' he gave in collusion with those other two slack jawed excuses for politicians, is now looking like it may be scuppered by 'devo max sceptics' in Camerons own back yard.

Some of us may not live long enough to see it Kenny.

do I loathe it? no - I would love to see radical devolution by next year (stepping stones route)

do i doubt it? yes -GB basically promised Home Rule (give or take) I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell of that coming to be. Maybe you could dust off the North Brit crystal ball and tell us what the future is because you were all certainly very bold in predicting what would come to be in the event of a yes vote last week....?

I'd have to hunt for yes voters that loathe the further powers coming our way (maybe). They would need to actively and loudly tell Westminster to shove them up their arse to do that would they not?
